water everywhere
would be enough, you’d think.
We watch it flow,
throw it away
sates our life
and drenches us to death.
We play on water,
while others work
until it takes their breath.
drained down the sink,
while many need a drink.

Apparently small wars for water are happening in some small countries. Its scary. That is a real war of desperation. I often feel guilty over the way we use water. I love pools and am so lucky to have that luxury when I get an invite. But some of the excess is just gross. I try to recycle, reuse water too. And conserve in house, though I also count my dishwasher as a blessing too
I think our small steps help a bit, and every bit counts.
